Obama for America built an unprecedented grassroots movement and everyone involved wants to continue the momentum. Organizing for America, a DNC project, builds on that volunteer base to support and guide the administration. Watch this video for more information.
We're former San Francisco for Obama staff volunteers committed to supporting the work of Organizing for America and creating change in our community. Some of the actions in which we plan to engage include phonebanking to constituents in other states to build support for Obama's legislation, grassroots skills trainings, and community service.

This week:
Saturday, April 18th, Learn How to Table with Susan Pfeifer 9am – 12:30p at the Ferry Building . This will be an actual "Tabling" activity as well as a TRAINING for those who can volunteer to set up similar tables in various neighborhoods around San Francisco once a month (or whenever OFA asks). Our goal is to have teams tabling around the city every month. It's great visibility for Organizing for America!
Sunday, April 19th Call for Change: Help Obama Supporters in Indiana Mobilize for Obama’s Agenda. Join former SF for Obama volunteers for a monthly phone bank where we'll use the tools we learned during the campaign to support Obama's legislation. On the third Sunday of every month, we'll reach out to Obama supporters in other states, letting them know how they can encourage their representatives in Congress to support Obama's agenda.
